Tuesday 7th November – Windsurf * River Orwell at Levington Marina –
sunny periods.
Foil – 18.60 knot max, 17.36 knot ave, 3.57 knot hour, 11.97 knot mile,
17.36 km., 13.80 knot alpha.
Starboard Freeride 150 and a Tushingham Storm 6.5.
It looked marginal and wsw not the best direction for Levington but it was
such a nice day I decided to head over to the marina tocheck it out as its
supposed to rain tomorrow! With low water around one to Orwell was pretty
low but you can sail out of the channel so no problems, there looked an ok
breeze, gusting to 20 mph so I set up rigging a 6.5. I then spent a couple
of searching for a gust, another crap session my 6th poor one in a row, I
am due a good session surely soon!!!! I didn’t even feel comfortable
gybing so pretty poor day but at least I saw a seal and it did not rain
until I was back onshore!
PS – some good news I got a pic on ITV About Anglia, good old Chris:)
